The GN-500 Tire Cutting Unit will efficiently perform the task of cutting tires into small pieces.

 

Alligator-type hydraulic shears are used for rapid separation of worn tires into chips. They are employed at enterprises engaged in collecting, transporting, recycling, and storing worn tires.

Precisely calculated shear geometry and tire cutting angle. Our company specializes in manufacturing waste recycling equipment, and we designed the shears to direct full cylinder force to the cutting blades at the optimal attack angle.

The wheel positioning table significantly eases operator workload, reduces tire feeding time to the cutting zone, and boosts shear productivity.

The integrated hydraulic oil cooling system ensures uninterrupted 24/7 operation. Active cooling engages when oil temperature exceeds 60°C, substantially extending service life of hydraulic oil and components: directional control valves, cylinder seals, and hydraulic pumps.

Top-mounted hydraulic cylinder prevents rod damage from scratches/impacts during operation. This configuration delivers full power transmission to the cutting assembly without energy loss.

Enhanced motor power and hydraulic pump capacity outperform comparable units, dramatically increasing shear productivity.

Blades feature special wear-resistant steel with material-specific hardening, enabling tire cutting without bead wire removal. Each blade has four cutting edges, providing 2 years of service per set.

Technical Specifications

The GN-500 shears feature a compact design requiring no specialized construction work for installation or operation. Dimensions: 2800 × 700 × 1800 mm; weight ≤ 1500 kg.

Only an electrical power connection is required. This enables transporting the shears to tire stockpile sites for pre-shipping size reduction. By cutting tires into small fragments before transportation, bulk density is increased, significantly reducing costs when shipping worn tires to recycling plants.

Deploying GN-500 alligator shears at recycling plants substantially reduces processing costs for worn tires and significantly lowers expenses for replacing wear-prone components in your tire recycling line. The shears operate in both manual and automated continuous modes.
